12:11pm Sat 3rd May 08:: written by Kelly Rawlings

Burnham neighbourhood policing team will be issuing illegally parked cars with fixed penalty notices in a bid to drive out inconsiderate road users.

The parking blitz will take place throughout the town on Thursday May 15, and has been organised after a number of complaints received by residents.

Neighbourhood officer, PC Stuart Cook, said: “While illegal parking was not identified as a priority by local residents when we consulted with the Neighbourhood Action Group, we have had several complaints about it recently and decided to take action.”
