A teenager was punched in the face by a cyclist in Old Windsor on Friday morning.

The 15-year-old boy was cycling along Albert Road towards Windsor when he was stopped by a man who was cycling towards him on a grey mountain bike. The man got off his bike and spoke to the boy before punching him in the face, injuring his mouth.

The attacker is white, aged 25 to 30, 5ft 10ins, medium build with a square-shaped face.
He spoke with an accent that could be Australian, New Zealand or South African.

PC James Rex, who is investigating the incident, said: “We believe that several cars stopped near the scene, but no-one called the police or went to help the boy.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to come forward as they could assist with my investigation.”

Call PC Rex on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
