Mounted police target Slough

Mounted police are hitting the streets of Slough today to target antisocial behaviour and car crime  hot spots.

PC Jack Frost and PC Kirsty Wilson will be helping out the neighbourhood teams in Wexham, Langley Wood and Kedermister areas between 12 and 3pm.

Neighbourhood Inspector, John Goosey, said: “The Mounted Section is an excellent resource to have come down and support the work of our neighbourhood teams. They provide an extra high visibility presence that will deter criminals and reassure the community.

“They will be targeting crime hotspots which we have identified through analysis and public consultations with the community.
