Eclectic, indie punk with a distinctive West Coast sound is the style of this Furze Platt based band. 
The foursome liken their sound to Californian bands such as Beck and Grandaddy.   

Originally members of separate bands, they met repeatedly on the local music circuit before making the decision to start up their own band - one with a sound previously unheard in this area.  

“We’ve got more of an eclectic sound”, says Ash “something different”. 
As a mostly studio-based band, they often have jamming sessions where some of their best songs are created.  

“We all contribute to each song, we try each idea out until it blossoms into something we can use”. 
After releasing their first album ‘Gold Dust Noise’ in 2002, they toured the UK, performing alongside a variety of acts from early Kaiser Chiefs and Aqualung, to The Darkness.
