Teenager killed in Ecuador coach crash

A teenager from Maidenhead was one of the gap year girls killed in a coach crash in Ecuador in the early hours of Sunday (Saturday night local time).

Indira Swann, 18, of Highway Avenue, died after the coach she was travelling in was hit by a speeding lorry in Sancan.

Three other students on a gap year and a tour guide were also killed during a trip organised by gap year specialists VentureCo Worldwide.

Twelve other young people are reportedly being treated for injuries.
