Car vandalism damages runs to thousands

Expensive cars were targeted by vandals at a Windsor showroom forecourt at the weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the cars, all expensive makes such as Mercedes, BMW, Jaguar and Lexus, were heavily scratched with three of the vehicles with soft tops had their roofs slashed.

Between 6.30pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday the offenders damaged fourteen cars at the Charles of Windsor Garage, located on the junction of Alma Road and Arthur Road.

The cost of the damage is estimated at more than £20,000.
