Eggcellent Easter events

9:02am Tue 25th Mar 08:: written by Gareth McPherson

Hordes of kids scrambled around a sports field trying to find as many easter eggs as they could yesterday.

The youngsters dashed to dig up egg tokens, which were hidden in the grass next to the rugby pitch.
The tokens were exchanged for the 800 chocolate eggs on offer at the Rotary Club of Maidenhead Thames hunt.

Alexander Bryan, four, won the £100 prize by unearthing the golden egg - which was a hard-boiled egg painted gold.
