Radio DJ shows his Heart in charity run

12:00pm Tue 25th Mar 08:: written by Luke Cross

A radio DJ has been pounding the paths of Maidenhead in the run up to his second London Marathon.

Gareth John, who hosts the early morning show for Heart 106.2, moved to his new home near Pinkneys Green with wife Charlotte, 32, towards the end of last year.
The couple came from Ealing to be closer to the river and the countryside.

The 39-year-old has also been getting to know the area a little better by jogging along the Thames Path.

Mr John will be raising money on April 13 for The Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths Society (SANDS) in memory of Megan, the daughter of his friends Chris and Jane Sykes, who was stillborn in June 2006.
