Motorcyclist hurt in rush-hour crash

The rush-hour crash happened in Lower Cookham Road at the junction with Cliveden Mead at about 8.40am today.
The incident involved a collision between a green Kawasaki Ninja 600 and what is believed to be a silver Mercedes-Benz. The driver of the car was not injured.
Police set up diversions while investigators examined the scene.
A police spokesperson said: "The road was closed and there was a spillage of oil. The motorcyclist’s injuries were not life threatening but he was taken to Wexham Park hospital."
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed the driver was treated for spinal injuries after complaining of back pain.
