Sainsbury's car park plans

12:00am Wed 4th Apr 07

The supermarket giant together with the Royal Borough will carry out some alterations to the car park off St Cloud Way on Sunday (8/4).
Some customers had been finding it difficult to navigate their way around the car park, which combines general parking with dedicated space for shoppers.
Exit ramps on each floor will be adjusted to give a wider turning circle for cars and the internal circulation road will be painted black to make it easier for car park users to find their way out.
Improvements will also be made to car park signage.
It is hoped the changes will make the Hines Meadow car park more user-friendly.
The car park will be closed on Easter Sunday while the work is carried out. It will reopen by 7am on Easter Monday.
A Sainsbury's spokeswoman said: "A number of enhancements are proposed in order to respond positively to feedback from car park users and following a routine post-opening review of how the car park operates."
