Gangs of youths a concern for residents

12:00am Tue 23rd Oct 07:: written by Alastair Beach

Gangs of youths who roam the streets of Cox Green have been targeted by police after families listed their fears during the launch of neighbourhood policing.

More than 150 householders turned up for the meeting - the highest turnout so far for any of the Maidenhead launches.

Those who attended Cox Green Community Centre on Wednesday also highlighted criminal damage and visible late night policing as areas for officers to focus on, with police handing out 'voting slips' for people to indicate their main areas of concern.
