Police have released CCTV pictures of a man they want to talk to in connection with a verbal assault on a woman on a bus in Reading.

The man got on a bus in Station Approach and made verbal threats towards the 43 year-old female driver at about 7.20pm on January 14.

When she tried to call police, the man got off and walked away towards the railway station.

Det Con Mark Townsley, who is investigating the incident said: “The victim found this man’s behaviour very distressing and this unprovoked incident has left her shaken.

“I am keen to speak to anyone who recognises the man from these images.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det Con Townsley, at Reading CID, via 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555111.
