Grow your own business training

Maidenhead's chamber of commerce is encouraging businesses to attend a 'grow your own training' on Tuesday.

The event  will detail training opportunities for business managers and employees with a variety of presentations from 6.30–8pm at Maidenhead Town Hall.

The speakers will be:

  • Mike Carr from Train2Gain - a Government initiative to promote level 2 and 3 training within organisations and highlight the funding available for businesses.

  • Jane Wick of the Berkshire Training Provider Network will explain work based learning and the provision and funding available to employers and how employees can learn and gain a qualification at work.

  • Kim Davies from Berkshire College of Agriculture has information about what her college offers and services provided.

  • Amanda Waters from Grow Our Own will show how funded local skills courses are provided for employed and non employed local people through her organisation.
