Free parking day on Saturday

9:52am Thu 19th Mar 09:: written by Gareth McPherson

Parking will be free in council car parks in Windsor and Maidenhead on Saturday.

The Royal Borough is opening up its car parks in a drive to bring in shoppers and to 'pay back' the public following last year's VAT cut from 17.5 per cent to 15 per cent.

The windfall will also see tens of thousands of pounds 'given back' to residents in the form of discounted leisure activities and other freebies.
