Now the festive season is upon us it's time to get those mince pies in the oven and fill our homes with the sweet smell of home-baking.
As Bray celebrity chef Michel Roux brings out his book on how to make the perfect pastry, our reporter and mince pie-making novice Alastair Beach put his theory to the test.
