Three time Olympic silver medallist Katherine Grainger has spoken her words of wisdom to her younger crewmate and Marlow Rowing Club colleague Annie Vernon.

The pair were part of the women's quad scull that won silver in Beijing, being pipped to their dreams of gold by the Chinese.

Despite the disappointment, Katherine Grainger had some uplifting words for her crew mate Annie Vernon.
