The Liberal Democrats stole a seat from the Independents on Cookham Parish Council last night.
Fiona Hewer was voted in to Cookham Parish Council last night in the by-election at Pinder Hall.
She received 525 votes, compared to Nigel Topping (Ind) on 376 votes and Beryl McNeaney (Ind) on 74 votes.
Cllr Hewer's Cookham Rise seat replaces Independent, John Hewitt, who runs a catering business and stepped down from the council due to work pressure.
