If you fancy getting out and about with a spring in your step to celebrate the start of March, see what's going on in the area to keep you occupied:
Saturday:
Royal Borough residents have another opportunity to meet their local councillors at a town centre surgery session in Windsor on Saturday.
Two police officers and a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) who look after the Windsor area will also be on hand to answer questions and give crime prevention advice.
The doors will be open between 10am and 12noon in the council’s mobile facility outside the Post Office in Peascod Street, Windsor.
Loving children will be able to treat their mum with gifts made at a special Mother's Day workshop.
The organisers of the Children's Sunday Club at Holy Trinity Church are putting on the annual workshop at the Parish Centre for 60 children to make cards, presents for their mums and flower bouquets to give to hand out at the Mother's day service the next day.
The workshop is on Saturday 1st March from 10 until 12 and everyone is welcome.
A Fairtrade Coffee Morning will be held at the Flackwell Heath Methodist Church 10am - noon as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.
Proceeds from goods such as tea, coffee, home-made cakes, craft and jewellery will go to the Fairtrade Foundation and Tearfund.
Pianist and composer Alex Routledge will entertain the visitors and everyone is welcome.
Party in Reading at Carnival Time 2008 at South Street.
The community carnival will present an amazing event of live entertainment for all the family. It starts at 7pm.
The annual exhibition for Maidenhead Painting Club will be at Norden Farm and visitors can view the work of the members over the past year.

St David's Day celebrations are taking place at Burnham Park Hall, where traditional Welsh music will be performed .

The Marlow Spring Fair will be at Wesley Hall, Marlow Methodist Church, from 10am to 2pm.
There will be a coffee morning plus stalls selling Easter and Mother's Day gifts and cake stalls.

A grand table-top sale is coming to Bourne End in aid of various charities, including an Aids orphanage.
There will be clothes, bric-a-brac, books, toys and many other bargains at St Dunstans Church Hall. For more details contact Anne on 01494 562080.
In Maidenhead there will be a table top sale at St Joseph's Hall in aid of Third World orphanages and CAFOD.

Sunday:
Posies of flowers will be presented to any women living in the parish of Furze Platt attending a Mothering Sunday service this weekend.
At St Mark’s Hospital Church, in the hospital’s grounds there will be a special family communion at 10.15am which will be led by Rev Mark Balfour, vicar of Furze Platt.
During the service youngsters in the congregation will be given a bunch of spring blooms to present to their mothers.
However as many of the ladies present could be grandmothers or godmothers all of them will receive flowers.
Meanwhile at the other end of the parish there will be an all age service in St Peter's Church starting at 10.30am led by associate minister Rev Jeremy Hyde and his wife Margaret.
Once again posies will be given to all ladies attending and afterwards there will be an opportunity to purchase Fair Trade goods.
Community event Simply Walk will be in Burnham in Eastfield Road.
