Firefighters from Slough tackled a car fire in a road in Britwell this afternoon (Thursday).
At 4.10pm, a crew from Slough were called to Aldridge Road where they discovered a Ford Focus which was ‘well alight’.
A spokesperson from Slough Fire Station said the fire had started for ‘no apparent reason’.
He added that the driver, who was travelling in the car at the time, noticed smoke coming from the glove box and had pulled over and left the vehicle before it caught on fire.
The crew put out the fire and the spokesperson added that nobody was hurt.
The police were also in attendance to ensure scene safety.
