DARIA Poma-Kostick and Joel Lange were crowned regional champions as Maidenhead Marlins 15-and-over swimmers produced a fine array of performances in High Wycombe earlier this month.
Poma Kostick and Lange were victorious in their respective u16s 200m breaststroke finals but they were both pipped for top spot on the podium in their 100m breaststroke finals.
Maisie Cossins was a gold medal winner in the 18 and over 50m breaststroke final and Lange then completed the set of medals by taking bronze in the 400m individual medley.
There was a creditable 10th placed finish in the u14-u16s 800m freestyle relay for Alyssa Basinger, Beth Neal, Daria Poma-Kostik and Emma Hepworth, while Neal and Hepworth went on to claim top 10 finishes of ninth and 10th in the 400m freestyle event.
Neal also narrowly missed out on finals for the 50m and 100m freestyle.
Tom Dean touched home first in the 200m freestyle race and Alex Wood competed well in the 50m backstroke event.
Liv Howley was part of the 400m medley relay team which finished 16th overall.
Head coach Paul Lloyd said: “This was a great performance from our 15- and-over regional qualifying swimmers.
“It’s well deserved for all the hard work they do in their training sessions.”
