Tom Kerridge seeks permission for temporary kitchen ahead of Hand and Flowers refurbishment

Celebrity chef Tom Kerridge is looking to give himself an early Christmas present in the shape of a new kitchen for his flagship restaurant the Hand and Flowers.

According to plans submitted to Wycombe District Council at the beginning of September, the Michelin-starred maestro is seeking permission to install a portable building to use as a temporary cooking space while the main kitchen is refurbished.

A decision is expected by Tuesday, November 4, although documents attached to the application state an intention to take delivery of the unit on Monday, October 24, ahead of work starting on Monday, October 31.

Renovations are expect to take about six weeks.
