Christmas came early to a school in Maidenhead on Monday as it was visited by two reindeer.
Pupils and staff at St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, in Cookham Road, enjoyed the special festive treat, despite the rain.
Janice Laycock, headteacher, said: “The children were delighted.
“The reindeer were just gorgeous.”
A special pavilion was erected for the reindeers’ visit from Riverways Farm, in New Bath Road, Twyford.
“The staff from the farm were so good with the kids, they really learnt a lot.
“And they stayed all afternoon so the rest of the year groups could see them,” said Mrs Laycock.
