Diwali celebrations were held by the Hindu Society of Maidenhead at St Piran's School on Sunday.
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is a celebration of the victory of good over evil and the Hindu New Year.
The event included Bollywood dancers and the children put on a show for the guests explaining the history of the celebration.
Kalpana Saurabh, from the Hindu Society of Maidenhead, said: “Hindus in Maidenhead enjoyed celebrating their annual Diwali function with a vibrant cultural programme.
“This story was beautifully dramatised by the children with fabulous costumes and props.
“This was followed by a lively medley of Bollywood dances and foot-stamping ‘Happy Diwali’ song.”
