Completion of a major development in Maidenhead town centre has been pushed back until next year.
Work on Berkshire House, in Queen Street, is now expected to finish in February due to 'construction delays', according to a spokesman for Essential Living, the firm behind the scheme.
Despite this, information on the company’s website states building work was due to be finished last month.
And an update posted on Wednesday, September 14, said the ‘internal fit out is now well progressed with kitchens and bathrooms being installed’, adding that scaffolding would soon be removed to reveal the ‘finished building’.
Adding to confusion over the state of the project, the same website also simply gives the year 2016 for the first move-in dates.
UPDATE Monday, October 10, 10am:
Essential Living has said it expects the first tenants to begin moving in in March.
