Alan Devonshire has signed striker Jake Hyde from League 2 Stevenage on a month’s loan deal.
The manager has bolstered his attacking options after the Magpies were replaced at the top of the table by rivals Ebbsfleet United after Saturday’s defeat at Hemel Hempstead Town.
The 26-year-old, originally from Maidenhead, joined Stevenage in the summer from York City but began his career at Swindon Town.
He has notched up more than 200 appearances for a variety of clubs including Barnet and Dundee and is also an England C international.
Goalkeeper Nick Hamann has also arrived in recent weeks as cover for Carl Pentney.
Meanwhile Charlie Wassmer and James Hammond have been loaned out to Gosport Borough and Hendon respectively to get some game time under their belts.
