Burnham have parted company with first team manager Dave Tuttle after four straight defeats left the club bottom of the Hellenic Premier Division.
Football development manager Luther Blissett and Paul Toms will take temporary charge of the first team while the club recruits a new manager.
Details of the role will be released in due course.
Chairman Gary Reeves said: “We would like to thank Dave for all of his hard work during last season, and also in the preparation of the current season and the first five games. We wish him every success in the future.
“Luther Blissett and Paul Toms will be in temporary charge of the first team and have the full support of the board, whilst the club looks at recruiting someone to take on the management role and work within the new football development structure.
“The club’s priority is to focus on ensuring a period of stability and we are fortunate that we are able to call on Luther as our football development manager to give us the time to recruit the right individual for the position.”
