Just noticed this story on BBC.co.uk, which suggests that the Lib Dems will be making extra efforts to gain this constituency at the next general election. The Torygraph mentions something similar on their page, as does The Scotsman.

The local Lib Dems site claims they need only 3,000 more votes this time around (3,284 - actually) to win Maidenhead. Let the mud-slinging commence...
