Rowers compete at the Olympic course at Dorney Lake
Rowers of all ages took to the water as they competed against the clock over the Olympic course at Dorney Lake.
More than 500 crews including singles, doubles, fours and eights went head to head over the 2,000m course in the Thames Valley Trial Head Regatta at Eton College Rowing Centre on Sunday.
Crews from Marlow Rowing Club, Maidenhead Rowing Club, Windsor Boys' School, Sir William Borlase's Grammar School, Eton Excelsior and Langley Academy were among those taking part.
They competed in three divisions in 107 races, all posting three times on the course with the average recorded giving their overall time.
Rowers taking part on a cold winter's morning ranged from 13-year-olds up to the veterans category of over 40.
The event was organised by the Marlow Regatta committee.
Among the winners were two-man team, Joel, from Windsor Boys' School who won race 32 with an average of 6 minutes 56 seconds.
In race 60, Marlow RC team Wilson beat team Dobson from Maidenhead Rowing Club with a time of 7 minutes 43 seconds.
