Debbie Stavrou won the Potters World Indoor Bowls Ladies Matchplay this afternoon, taking the crown for the second year running.

The Desborough Bowls Club member beat Guernsey’s Alison Merrien to take the title.
 
In a thrilling match, Debbie, who has been chosen to represent England in the BIWIBC International Series in March scored 9-7, 5-7 and won 2-0 in the decisive tie–break.
