Wycombe Wanderers have announced that Andrew Howard will take over from Don Woodward as the club's new chairman.

Howard, from HighWycombe, will take on the role after Woodward officially stands down from the position on Thursday, July 31.

Woodward was appointed chairman in 2012 when the Wycombe Wanderers Trust took over ownership of the Chairboys. Woodward will remain on the club's
