Windsor FC face a real test of their title credentials on Saturday when Wembley visit Stag Meadow according to boss Keith Scott.

Despite sitting 15th in the Combined Counties Premier Division, Scott feels the London club are one of the strongest teams in the league.

Their campaign has been plagued with inconsistency but on their day they can beat anyone, as they showed just a fortnight ago when they won 2-1 at league leaders Guildford City.

So Scott has warned his players they will need to be at their very best if they are to keep up the heat on Guildford in the title race.

He said: “They (Wembley) are a very good footballing side so I’m expecting a very difficult game

“On their day they can turn the best over as they did at Guildford a couple of weeks ago.

“We will have to be at our best to beat them, we can’t afford to have an off day.”
