Reading FC have completed the double signing of strikers Jason Roberts and Tomasz Cywka.

Roberts has signed at 18-month deal at the Madejski Stadium following his switch from Premier League side Blackburn Rovers,

Royals chairman Sir John Madejski said: "I am delighted that a man of Jason Roberts' calibre has decided to sign for Reading Football Club.

"He will bring enormous experience to the club, and I wish him every success in helping his new teammates."

Cywka has arrived form Championship rivals Derby County.

The Polish 23-year-old has joined on a free transfer until the end of the season, with an option to extend the deal beyond the summer.

Cywka was on target for Derby against the Royals at the Madejski Stadium earlier this season.
