Quiz night to raise cash for Comets' Dutch tour
Quiz teams will test their sporting knowledge and raise money for the Twyford Comets tonight.
The Duke of Wellington in the High Street is hosting a quiz to help fund the Comets bi-annual footballing trip to Holland.
This year’s tour is set to take place in October, with the Comet’s Under 14’s side set to play three games in five-days in Ullestraten, near Maastricht, including the annual challenge match with RKUVC Ullestraten.
Quiz entry is £1 per player and the event will include a raffle and sports related prizes.
The event starts from 8pm.
