Weekend football decimated by big freeze
The freezing weather has played havoc with the Saturday football calender for the second weekend in a row.
Maidenhead United's home game with Welling United has been called off in the Blue Square South.
With York Road being covered by a blanket of snow all week the game was always in doubt and an official confirmation of the postponement was given after a pitch inspection this morning (Saturday).
In the Southern Central Division, league leaders Slough Town's game against Barton Rovers has also been called off, as has Burnham's home game with Fleet Town and Marlow's trip to Northwood.
Windsor FC's home game with Wembley has suffered the same fate in the Combined Counties Premier Division.
All fixtures in the Hellenic League were called off yesterday meaning Flackwell Heath, Holyport, Ascot United and Maidenhead United Reserves saw games postponed.
