Maidenhead United FC boss Johnson Hippolyte has hailed the impact of Mark Nisbet and Jermaine Hinds following their return to the club.

Centre-back Nisbet had been sidelined with an ankle injury since the start of the season but finally made his return to action in December.

Midfielder Hinds meanwhile was brought back to the club for third time in November, joining from Farleigh Rovers.

Speaking on Nisbet, Hippolyte said: “He came in and gave us all a lift. He’s helped to shore up the defence.

“He puts his life on the line and it’s no coincidence that results have picked up since he’s come back.”

The Magpies boss added:“That goes for Jermaine Hinds as well.

“He’s come in and made a difference with his pace and power.

“When he does what we want and wins the ball and moves it on quickly, he’s awesome.”
