Maidenhead United FC play their football in the Blue Square South League and have done since winning promotion to the division in 2007/08.
Nicknamed The Magpies, their home is York Road, a ground that has historical significance as it is recognised as the oldest continuously used football ground in the world.
Boss Johnson Hippolyte has been in charge of the club since 2006 when he took over following the departure of Carl Taylor.
Hippolyte, or Drax as he is well known, is a manager who looks to give youth a chance and he has built a squad based on exciting young talent.
Maidenhead United have struggled in recent seasons, however, and finished the 2011/12 season in the relegation zone but they survived the drop due to a reprieve.
Despite their struggles in the league in that season, they did enjoy a superb run in the FA Cup where they reached the first round proper.
A crowd of just under 3,000 saw them draw 1-1 with League 2 side Aldershot at York Road, they went on to lose 2-0 in the replay.
