Dorney Parish Council received 243 returned questionnaires, which had asked 607 villagers whether they supported an annual increase in the parish precept of between £60.96 (Band H) and £20.28 (Band A) to help fund the £350,000 plans. Votes in favour totalled 125, while 118 were against, it was announced at a parish council meeting yesterday.
