Murder victim remembered in pub charity day

Murder victim Kelly Ryan will be remembered at a special charity event tomorrow, one year on from his death.

There will be a barbecue, raffle, pool contest and live music at the event, which is being held at \'Kelly\'s Bar\' The Three Horseshoes in Eton Wick, where the 35-year-old worked.

He had worked as head chef at the pub for three years, but on September 24 last year he was stabbed to death by barman Leigh Melton, 24.

Melton was convicted of Kelly\'s murder and sentenced to life imprisonment earlier this year.

The event aims to highlight the dangers of knife crime and it is also raising money for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance.
