Olympic rowers came out on top in the battle of Hedsor's Kitchen.

Stars of the rowing and kayaking teams representing Great Britain at Dorney Lake this summer were pitched against each other as they tested their culinary skills at Hedsor House in Taplow on Saturday.

Each team cooked up a three-course meal for 150 guests at the Sport Relief fundraiser, with the final honours going to the rowers, captained by 2010 World Cup Series gold medallist Natasha Page.

Natasha said: "It was brilliant. Everyone worked really hard and if we hadn’t won I would have been as bit annoyed as I have quite a competitive side."

Memorabilia from sporting legends was auctioned off and an opportunity to train with the British women's beach volleyball team went for more than £1,000.

Mark Hunter MBE, who won gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, said: "Winning the gold medal at Hedsor's Kitchen is a good sign of things to come for the Olympics!"

The evening, organised by Party for the Podium and Melissa Webb Caterers, raised £5,700 to be split equally between Sport Relief and participating athletes.
