Family, friends and football - these are a few of a child's favourite things.

More than 150 children completed a Valentine's Trail at Cliveden yesterday and then decorated the Valentine Tree with messages about the things they love.

One read: "I love my family and friends. I like playing sport. I love Cliffden."

While another declared: "I love football."

The event at the National Trust attraction in Taplow was the first in the Wild Wednesday series of outdoor adventure days on Wednesdays during school holidays for families with children aged four to 11.

'Weeds and Seeds' takes place on April 4 followed by 'Bug Hunting' on April 11. Sessions cost £2 per child plus normal admission charges. Booking is not required.
