A Polish man found dead in Wooburn Common has been named as Ryszard Karpuc from London.

The 44-year-old from West Ealing was found by pheasant beaters in Green Common Lane on Saturday.

The cause of death is being treated as unexplained.

Police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and he remains in custody.

Detective Superintendent Rob Mason, said: "I would like to stress that although a man has been arrested, we are keeping an open mind as to the circumstances of the death.

"Until we have had an opportunity to interview this person, it would be inappropriate to comment any further."
