National Libraries Day celebrated across the borough
Enthralled children have been celebrating National Libraries Day across the Royal Borough today.
To mark the occasions all libraries in the borough organised a series of activities to celebrate books and the pleasures of reading.
Activities included visits from popular book characters, such as Tigger, fancy dress competitions, story telling, lucky dips and arts and crafts.
Maidenhead, Windsor, Ascot, Cox Green, Britwell, and Datchet Libraries organised competitions and events to celebrate the day.
National Libraries Day celebrates and promotes a culture of reading for pleasure in children and adults.
