Daredevils' plunge to raise £10k for Sport Relief

A former bartender with a head for heights has thanked the Golden Cross pub after they helped her reach her fundraising goal for Sport Relief.
The daring 28-year-old is planning to leap from a plane at 10,000 feet on March 14 in Marlow but feared she would fall short of her fundraising goal.
Thankfully Mark Gray, landlord of the pub in Waltham Road, stepped in to help out organising a fundraising evening last week which raised £140.
The former Piggott School pupil, who worked at the Golden Cross for 10 years, is taking her leap of faith with colleagues from Maidenhead company Promote PR.
Together they have set themselves a fundraising goal of £10,000, collecting a pound for every foot they will fall.
It is Jo's first skydive and she is understandably nervous but she knows every penny she collects will be put to good causes supporting people in the world's poorest countries and projects in the UK.
