Woodlands Park Road closed following bus crash
One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the same stretch of road in Maidenhead where a man died three weeks ago.
Police closed Woodlands Park Road tonight following a crash between two cars and a bus.
Blue watch fire crews from Maidenhead were called to the scene at about 6.10pm. The bus, which was carrying three passengers, left the road mounting a grass verge before crashing into a hedge.
Two other cars were also involved in the smash. A driver was taken to hospital in an ambulance with minor injuries but no one else is thought to have been hurt.
The crash comes three weeks after a moped rider was killed on the same stretch of road. John Bryan, 57, of Pool Lane died at the side of the road after a collision with a van on January 10.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and the road is due to be re-opened soon.
