A 54-year-old man from Waltham St Lawrence has died in a collision in Cox Green today.

A police spokesman said the victim died at the scene in Woodlands Park Road after the crash which happened at about 12.45pm today. He was riding a Piaggio Typhoon moped which was involved in a crash with a white Ford transit van.

The driver of the van was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.

The road has been closed between the Waltham Road roundabout and the Cox Green Lane roundabout.
