A sell-out audience enjoyed a thigh-slapping good time at the annual Cox Green Community Centre panto on Saturday.

More than a dozen residents were involved in this year's performance of Aladdin which raised more than £1,000 for the Highfield Lane centre.

Organiser Mick Cooper said: "It was a great success and we would like to thank the audience for allowing us to have so much fun and get applause for it as well."

The lead was played by panto veteran Hilary Holifield whilst Brian Turner performed as the Sultan and Tammie Allum as Princess Pashmina.
