Wessex Wines caught selling alcohol to children
A bottle shop in Wessex Way could lose its licence after less than two years in business.
Shopkeepers at Wessex Wines in Cox Green have been caught breaking the law by selling alcohol to children.
Police have asked for the shop's business practices to be scrutinised by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead under a licensing review.
The Wessex Way shop was opened in March 2010 on the site of the former Threshers.
Its licence holders are Surbir Singh Sarna and Nirmohan Singh Sarna.
They will be asked to meet with councillors to discuss the problems and could be stripped of their premises licence.
The last date for representations is January 16.
