Brewery to launch new ale for diamond jubilee
New ales created from a mix of national and international ingredients will be brewed in Windsor to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this year.
Brewers at Windsor and Eton Brewery in Duke Street, have revealed plans for three tipples in casks and bottles to celebrate the occasion - all with distinctive Commonwealth flavours.
Treetops, a deep African export stout will be launched in pubs on February 6 - on the anniversary of Princess Elizabeth's accession to the throne.
The second called Kohinoor, named after the central diamond in the Queen’s coronation crown, will be an Indies pale ale using exotic Asian ingredients and be brewed in May and June.
A third will be launched sometime in the autumn and will have a new world theme to it.
