The Quick Response (QR) code is a new and easy way to browse the worldwide web on your smartphone.

Businesses and charities are using the code on their paperwork to promote their sites and the Advertiser and Express is now using the initiative to help you make the most of our digital services.

Do you have an iPhone? Go to your App Store and search for 'scan.' There are a number of free applications that you can download including QR Code City: Scan. Wait until your new app has downloaded and use it to scan a square barcode in our paper which will automatically take you to our website.

If you are a Blackberry user just download a similar feature for free using the App World application. You can download the app other smartphones.
