Cliveden Rocks! - Saturday
The rain didn\'t dampen the spirits of the hundreds of people who turned up with their chairs, picnics and wine on Saturday night at Cliveden Rocks!
The Strolling Bones were first on the enormous stage at the far end of the paddock. They had the look and the sound to match and rocked through their string of hits.
The sound at the front was deafening and the heavy base made our teeth judder, so we stayed towards the back and watched ‘Mick’ and the gang strut their stuff from a distance.
The rain dried up gradually and the umbrellas were folded away as The Magic of Abba took over.
With the sound more bearable we joined the throng at the front and bopped away. The girls really did justice to the Abba sound, and with some slick guitar work from ‘Bjorn’, gave a top performance worthy of the original band
Overall, a great atmosphere and a fun night, despite the weather.
